It's a new year at the circus...

The Galilee Circus has begun its eighth (!) year of activity in its new quarters, the beautiful, brand new gym of the school in the village of Ba'aneh. On the one hand we had hoped to find a place that would be "all ours" so that our usage would not be restricted to specific hours and days - and our search continues. But meanwhile, this is a major upgrade for us. Also an interesting experiment: have we proved ourselves to the point that the Jewish families will send their kids to an after-school activity in an Arab village? The answer seems to be yes, which is no small matter and not to be taken for granted!
Sarah, our student intern from Germany, besides helping as a coach, is working on developing peer-coaching skills among the older kids, and on setting up partnerships with European youth circuses.
