Arab-Jewish Cooperation

We believe

We believe that for Israel to be a strong and sustainable Jewish state, it must create a shared basis of culture and civic loyalty among all its citizens, of whatever religion and ethnic identity. We further believe that the Galilee, with its mixed population and its traditions of pluralism and cooperation, can serve as the laboratory for creating the proper equilibrium between the particular and the universal, the right synthesis of "Jewish" and "democratic." To this end, we have developed (and continue to develop) programs designed to break down barriers and fears, and strengthen shared culture and identity, between the Jewish and Palestinian Arab citizens of the Galilee. And we are open to new ideas and partnerships beyond the projects listed on this page.
